Oh yes I’m back. I can’t say exactly how long it will last this time. I’m thinking the average is around 3.47 weeks or 2.63 posts, but that’s just a rough calculation. Anyway I have been knitting during my hiatus, not much but my needles have seen at least a bit of love. Lil Pinkie has definitely been taking up my knitting time. I mean come on who knew a 10 month old wouldn’t be self-sufficient, get with the program lil Pink. Speaking of who are these mothers that have like 3 kids and still find the time to blog, where do they hide their capes? I had big dreams of proudly displaying my super mom cape (hey I never said I wasn’t one to brag) ha ha ha ha, hey at least the kid is still alive. Now that my needles are finding their way out more often though who knows how long it will take before he jabs his eye out with one. Regardless wanna see what I’m working on? Of course you do…

It a redemption knit. I haven’t knit anything for my niece so hopefully this and the hat that I’m planning to make to go with it will at least lessen the burn a bit. Although in my defense lil Pink only has one lonely ole hat that his mother, me, has knit for him. So it’s not like he’s swimming in hand knit items while my poor niece has nothing. They both have nothing. I’m such a bad knitter/mother. Oh well until next time…
